Stretching Is Bad For You?

It’s been suspected for a while that stretching before activity could be a waste of time, and I tend to recommend that people stretch regularly throughout the day, and after exercise rather than before.

I personally believe that the best type of warm up is doing at a very low level the activity you are about to do, like foreplay… (Ahem!…)

The research I’ve seen is very careful not to diss stretching as an important part of our health, such as in that part of yoga practice that involves stretching, and what I read into it all is that there is a time and a place for stretching, as there is also a time and a place for not stretching.
